Hollywood Road’s vibrant Spanish dining concept that is deeply rooted in the beauty of contrast, is delighted to announce the launch of its new Piscolabis & Rice Lunch – a midday ritual rooted in the great Spanish tradition of gathering, grazing, and savouring. Founded and conceptualised by acclaimed chef Edgard Sanuy Barahona, Lola Maria is his most personal project and an ode to authentic Spanish flavour, served in an atmosphere that is at once intimate and energetic. The Piscolabis Lunch is the fullest expression of that vision: an invitation to slow down, pull up a chair, and let the afternoon unfold at the table. Available from 25 May 2026 (Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2:30pm), the Piscolabis Lunch is crafted for a minimum of two, offering ultimate flexibility for a shared meal.
A piscolabis, the Spanish phrase for a convivial spread of small bites, sets the tone from the very beginning. Before the main event arrives, the table fills with complimentary tapas that speak to the warmth at the heart of Lola Maria: Tomato Bread, warm and fragrant; irresistible golden Croquetas; a cool and refreshing Gazpacho or Russa Salad; the signature Lola Maria Salad; and the Bikini, that most-beloved of toasted sandwiches, which is simple, satisfying, and quietly perfect.
At the heart of the Piscolabis & Rice Lunch is the Arroz, and at Lola Maria, rice is elevated to ceremony. Each table selects one dish to share between two diners, drawn from a menu that honours the full breadth and boldness of Spanish flavour. The rice dish chosen sets the price per person for the entire set, ranging from HK$263 to HK$395.
In the spirit of Lola, the Charred Beef Rib and Piquillo Peppers Rice arrives in dramatic and extraordinary fashion. The Carabinero Rice, built around one of Spain’s most prized crustaceans, is pure, unapologetic luxury, and the Black Rice “del senyoret”, inky and striking, arrives finished with a silky All-i-oli that makes it quietly unforgettable.
The Duck & Foie Gras Rice is deeply and unapologetically indulgent, while the Pork Belly and Piquillo Peppers Rice speaks to the soulful, generous cooking that defines so much of what Lola Maria does best.
For those who find themselves in Maria’s more classical embrace, the Roast Chicken Rice offers the kind of comfort that feels like a Sunday in Spain, the Vegetable Rice with All-i-oli is a reminder that the finest ingredients need little embellishment, and the Fideuà, that most Catalan of dishes, delivers a gentler, equally captivating path.

A sweet close to the afternoon
True to Lola Maria’s belief that every meal deserves a proper ending, the Piscolabis Lunch closes on a quiet, gracious note, with a coffee, a tea, or a scoop of ice cream. A gentle full stop to an afternoon that was never in a rush to end.
Available Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2:30pm, excluding Public Holidays, and crafted for a minimum of two diners, the Piscolabis Lunch is a celebration of the meal, the company, and the simple, enduring pleasure of good Spanish food on Hollywood Road. Set price per person is determined by the rice dish selected.
