W Macau – Studio City Returns with Sip Around Asia for a Second Consecutive Year This July

W Macau – Studio City is set to raise the bar as it brings back its celebrated Sip Around Asia event for a second consecutive year, this time taking centerstage during one of the most electrifying weeks in the regional drinks calendar. On July 26 and 27, 2026, destination bar, Blind Tiger and main bar, Living Room will be transformed into two nights of immersive mixology, welcoming a dynamic line-up of guest bartenders including Thirawat Kailaihong (TK) and Pae Jetsadakorn from ABar Rooftop at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park (July 26), Delphine Kong who is Brand Representative for Rémy Cointreau in Hong Kong & Macau (July 26), and co-founders of Some Fun bar in Taipei, Brandon Pan and Amis Huang (July 27), whose creativity and craft have earned them recognition across Asia and beyond.

The activation coincides with Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2026, which returns to Macau for the second year running on July 28, making W Macau – Studio City a natural destination for the global bar community as it descends on the city. Behind the scenes of Sip Around Asia is Victor Pun, Senior Mixologist at W Macau – Studio City, who is proud to position Blind Tiger and Living Room as a home-away-from-home for the global bar community — a place to celebrate craft, culture, and the connections that make this industry extraordinary.

An Evening of Bangkok Rooftop Glamour and Hong Kong Spirit at Blind Tiger

July 26 | 8:00PM onwards | Blind Tiger | Presented in partnership with Rémy Martin

The first night sees Blind Tiger play host to two compelling forces from the world of contemporary mixology, united under the banner of Rémy Martin — and a shared passion for the artistry of the pour. Brought together for one night at Blind Tiger will be Thirawat Kailaihong (TK), Assistant Bar Manager of ABar Rooftop at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, who holds the title of 2022 Cointreau Champion and Delphine Kong, who serves as Brand Representative for Rémy Cointreau in Hong Kong & Macau.

TK, joined on the night by his bartender Pae Jetsadakorn, will bring together a cocktail sensibility defined by tropical warmth and rooftop refinement to Blind Tiger. Their menu opens with Three Lives, a deceptively clean pairing of The Botanist gin and somsa hops soda that lets the botanicals do the talking. Hello Mellow turns up the heat — Rémy Martin V.S.O.P and white rum layered with sundried banana, mango juice, and pineapple syrup, finished with a sea-salted jasmine rice foam that brings an unexpected, aromatic softness to the glass. Closing their set, Lalita blends Cointreau with tequila and mezcal, Vietnamese coriander, and pomelo cordial — a smoke-kissed, herbaceous cocktail with a Southeast Asian soul.

Delphine simultaneously brings a refined lens to the Rémy Cointreau portfolio. She opens with Between the Teas, a nuanced blend of Rémy Martin V.S.O.P, cointreau, and dark rum steeped with rooibos and earl grey — a cocktail that moves between warmth and delicacy with each sip. Rosemary Clover Club strips things back with The Botanist gin, cointreau, and a rosemary raspberry syrup that gives a familiar classic a fragrant edge. She rounds out the evening with The Yuzu 75, a bright and effervescent finish with Rémy Martin V.S.O.P lifted with yuzu juice and chrysanthemum syrup, topped with sparkling wine.

Two Voices from Taiwan’s Inventive Bar Scene Take Over Living Room

July 27 | 8:00PM onwards | Living Room | Presented in partnership with The Glenrothes

The second night brings the energy of Taipei’s boundary-pushing cocktail culture to Living Room, with co-founders Brandon Pan and Amis Huang of Some Fun taking the stage together. Some Fun is one of Taipei’s most talked-about bars, celebrated for its distinct spirit of experimentation and its roots in indigenous Taiwanese culture — a bar with a story to tell and the cocktails to tell it.

Their menu for the evening is deeply rooted in the flavors, ingredients, and landscapes of Taiwan. On the menu is a reimagined Irish Coffee where The Glenrothes whisky meets Geisha coffee, crowned with a heavy cream infused with mountain pepper and smoked salt, a drink that sits at the intersection of Amis’s barista precision and Brandon’s bartending instinct. Pulse of the Island goes deeper into terroir with The Glenrothes and Valdespino Fino Inocente Sherry anchored by Taiwan Hinoki distillate with suze and Hawaiian black lava salt adding layers of bitterness and mineral depth. Beinan River is quieter and more contemplative, with the same whisky and sherry base gentled by butterfly ginger and rosemary. Hunter Mist, a fragrant, forest-floor cocktail where The Glenrothes meets elderflower, artichoke, may chang, and Taiwanese pepper tree, rounds up the menu.

DJ Delores, W Macau – Studio City’s music curator, will perform across both evenings at Blind Tiger and Living Room, extending the energy of each guest shift late into the night.

Each cocktail is priced at MOP 128. Prices are subject to 10% service charge. Reservations can be made through email at b&[email protected] or via telephone at +853 88651366.
