The two artists from Floral Impressions will share insights from their creative journeys: Nicole P.S. Chan, as the founder and lead illustrator of ditto ditto, will focus on her experience of transforming hand-drawn illustrations into letterpress-printed products. Michal Bačák, who has collaborated in recent years with various international art groups and designers to create artistic products such as books, music records, and artistic vases, will share his experiences and reflections on working with different partners to create illustrations.
This artist sharing is a part of “Floral Impressions: An Urban Chronicle,” an exhibition presented by Wyndham Social, in collaboration with local creative brand ditto ditto and the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Hong Kong that takes visitors on a journey through time, exploring the stories of Hong Kong’s Central district on Wyndham Street from the 19th century to the 1960s through hand-drawn illustrations and modern letterpress printing.
