Soluna Fine Art is proud to present Kaleidoscope City, the inaugural Hong Kong solo exhibition by Australian contemporary artist Jasmine Mansbridge. Deeply rooted in geometric art, Mansbridge constructs intricate visual worlds and distinctive compositions through her dynamic use of shapes, lines, and vibrant colours. Having visited Hong Kong multiple times, she infuses this new body of work with the city’s dynamism and visual rhythm. Mansbridge’s visual language consistently reveals her distinct artistic vision, transcending the boundaries of reality and inviting viewers to wander freely between the real and the imagined.
Alongside her paintings, Mansbridge presents Thought Catcher, a sculptural installation that engages viewers with their own image and presence, creating moments of contemplation that transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries. Aiming to connect the inner and outer worlds, Thought Catcher invites each viewer to envision their own utopia within its mirrored architecture. Kaleidoscope City embodies more than personal memory or experience; it is a meditation on universal values, human connection, and the infinite capacity of imagination. Through Mansbridge’s artistic lens, we are invited to journey into a world that is dynamic, multifaceted, and luminous, much like the ever-shifting patterns of a kaleidoscope.
Jasmine Mansbridge (b. 1978 in Brisbane, Australia) is a self-taught artist known for her intricate geometry-based paintings that construct a striking architectural world. Despite the bold composition of symbols, lines and shapes, her paintings embody unexpected tenderness, reflecting her sensitivity to life and arousing the audience’s attention to the undervalued everyday experiences. In addition to solo and group exhibitions, Jasmine has also completed commissioned and public wall art and installations in various cities like Melborune, Hong Kong and London. Her installation work has been exhibited at the National Gallery of Victoria, and featured in private collections.
Kaleidoscope City will be on view at Soluna Fine Art from 4 December 2025 to 17 January 2026, with an opening reception on 4 December (Thurs) at 6 – 8 pm.
