Five-Star Entertainment and a Star-Studded Finale Featuring Ian Chan as the Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show Returns this Month

Beyond the Arena, the three-day spectacle at AsiaWorld-Expo will offer free entry to a vibrant Lifestyle Shopping Village for an elevated lifestyle and entertainment experience. Arena tickets holders will enjoy seated access to world-class equestrian competition, culminating in a grand finale which includes a performance by Ian Chan of MIRROR on 1 February

Returning from 30 January to 1 February 2026, the Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show (LHKIHS) will once again transform the AsiaWorld-Expo into one of the city’s most vibrant cultural happenings of the season. Supported by Strategic Partner The Hong Kong Jockey Club, the Show is set to thrill audiences with world-class equestrian competition throughout the weekend. The 2026 edition will also feature a free-to-enter Lifestyle Shopping Village offering immersive art installations, exclusive artworks by prominent Hong Kong artists, curated shopping across equestrian gear, fashion, interior design and gourmet brands, live talks and demonstrations, fashion runway presentations, classic car showcases, and a wide range of family-friendly experiences. A full-scale cultural and lifestyle weekend beyond the arena, the final evening of the Show will include a live performance by Hong Kong pop icon Ian Chan of MIRROR in the main arena, before the highest priced show jumping class of the whole weekend takes place – The Longines Grand Prix.

Where Energy, Conversation and Entertainment Converge
Designed as a full-day or half-day destination for friends and families, the Show will return with a dynamic programme of sport, culture and entertainment. The Live Zone will once again anchor the social heartbeat of the weekend, bringing together talks, demonstrations and live activations that invite visitors to engage beyond the arena. Fan-favourite chit-chat sessions with the Shetland Pony Jockeys will return, offering families and young equestrian enthusiasts an up-close look into training, competition and life with horses.

Visitors will also be able to experience one of the region’s fastest-growing sports through on-site trial sessions with the Asia Aces Pickleball Academy, led by former tennis player and leading Asian pickleball athlete Venise Chan and her team. As evening approaches, the Live Zone will shift in mood, transforming into a vibrant after-hours destination with exclusive DJ sets by DJ Loki, presented in collaboration with LKF Concepts, on Friday and Saturday nights from 10:00-11:45PM.

The weekend’s energy will build toward a standout closing moment as Ian Chan, one of Hong Kong’s most recognisable pop voices, takes to the stage in the main competition arena during the closing performance on Sunday, 1 February. This live performance forms part of the arena programme and is accessible to those holding arena tickets. The MIRROR member will bring a dynamic musical dimension to the Horse Show’s conclusion, marking a rare crossover between five-star equestrian sport and live pop performance. In addition to his on-stage appearance, Ian Chan will also make a special appearance at The Hong Kong Jockey Club booth, offering fans an extra highlight to close out the three-day celebration.

Bringing the Spirit of the Horse to Life Through Art
The symbolism, beauty and energy of the Horse will be woven throughout the visitor experience, beginning with Ride the Future: Wishes for the Year of the Horse interactive installation supported by LG Electronics Hong Kong and Market Trend Interactive Solution Limited. This immersive experience invites guests to share their hopes for the New year by creating personalised digital horses, each symbolising a unique wish or aspiration. These vibrant creations will come to life as they leap across a large-scale digital arena display, forming a dynamic, collective display that blends art, technology, and tradition.

Art will continue to take centre stage with the debut of (Equestrian ART), a contemporary exhibition curated by Samson Ko, co-founder of Hong Kong-based art platform and advisory Seefood Room. For LHKIHS 2026, the exhibition will bring together ten artists whose works reinterpret the strength, elegance and movement of the Horse through diverse visual languages. Featured artists will include Liane Chu, Corn Ho, Carlos Koo, Elaine Chiu, Jacky Tao, Tiffany Chan, Fatina Kong, Benjamin Yuen and Agnes Leung, with opportunities for visitors to meet selected artists in person throughout the weekend.

A curated series of charity art prints will also be available, with a portion of proceeds benefitting the Riding for the Disabled Association Ltd. (RDA). Limited-edition works by internationally recognised painter Andrea Heimer and Cheng Zhe alongside exclusive prints created especially for LHKIHS 2026 by Elaine Chiu, Liane Chu, Carlos Koo and others, will be available on-site and online for a limited time.

Family Fun and Style Moments Across the Weekend
Families will find plenty to enjoy across the Village, with the Kids Zone offering complimentary activities such as face painting and balloon artistry, designed to inspire creativity and movement. A standout highlight will be Hong Kong’s inaugural LeMieux Hobby Horse Competition, where young visitors can choose their favourite hobby horse and navigate a playful course of low-rise jumps, experiencing the thrill of competition in a safe, light-hearted environment, with daily sessions and prizes adding to the excitement.

Style and creativity will continue at the Fashion Runway, where regional design talent meets family-friendly showcases. Beijing label BIFU will open the runway on Friday evening, followed by Isabelle C. on Saturday with a presentation and designer talk exploring modern interpretations of heritage textiles. Over the weekend, Hong Kong Kids Fashion Week will return with lively runway moments celebrating confidence and imagination, alongside the Model World Cup – New Talent Competition, while the Dog Fashion Show by PET-A-HOOD will add charm and personality as stylish pups take to the catwalk.
