Kelvin So
Mr Kelvin So is a passionate marine conservationist committed to advocating for Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and promoting the sustainable use of marine resources. As the Oceans Conservation Manager at WWF-Hong Kong, Kelvin leads key initiatives aimed at the development and expansion of MPAs in Hong Kong.

Kelvin currently leads a pioneering coral conservation and restoration initiative in collaboration with the Coral Academy of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. This initiative is focused on actively restoring coral communities and promoting long-term coral conservation in Hong Kong’s waters. Since 2018, Kelvin has also managed a community-based conservation project in Shui Hau, Lantau, where he works to mitigate human impact on this critical biodiversity hotspot and promote sustainable harvesting practices.

Kelvin holds an MSc in Environmental Management from The University of Hong Kong and a BA in Education for Sustainability (First Class Honours) from The Education University of Hong Kong. He has co-authored four academic publications and is a member of the IUCN Horseshoe Crab Species Specialist Group.

Dr Ken So
Dr Ken So received his PhD in Ecology from the University of Hong Kong in 2019 and currently serves as the Education and Research Manager at Outdoor Wildlife Learning Hong Kong (OWLHK). He has a long-standing focus on freshwater wetland ecology research and education, with particular expertise in dragonflies and aquatic invertebrates.

With extensive experience in conservation, Dr So is a member of the Sha Lo Tung Conservation Expert Group and the IUCN SSC Conservation Translocation Specialist Group. He also possesses years of teaching experience at the tertiary level and is dedicated to guiding the public in exploring Hong Kong’s ecology and biodiversity through lively and engaging courses.

Sophie Le Clue
Sophie is the CEO of ADMCF, overseeing work spanning environmental conservation, sustainable finance and impact investing since she joined the Foundation in 2007 as the environmental Programme Director. She has managed and directed an extensive range of environmental projects as well as drafted numerous research reports.

Sophie has 30+ years in the field of environmental protection, principally in the Asia Pacific region. Including working as an environmental consultant for 15 years more latterly for The Association for Responsible Investment in Asia (ASRIA). She is a board director of Drink Without Waste Limited, the Hong Kong Shark Foundation and represents ADMCF as a Steering Committee member for the Global Initiative to End Wildlife Crime and the Hong Kong Biodiversity Expert Group.

Sophie holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, a BSc in Ecology from Loughborough University and an EMBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
