Hosted by Justin Yeung, Co-Founder of 2041 Hong Kong, the evening brings together three distinguished voices from different generations who have each made a lasting impact in the sustainability field: Prof. Wong Kam-Sing, former Secretary for the Environment of the HKSAR; Daisy Chee, Associate Director in Sustainability Consulting at PwC; and award-winning filmmaker and photographer Ema Poposka.

About WONG Kam Sing, GBS, JP
Prof. Wong chairs Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation, and serves as honorary/adjunct professor in various universities. Through these positions, he nurtures the next genertions about climate actions and support relevant research projects.
Through cross-generational collaboration, Prof. Wong published the book Hong Kong’s Stories in the Journey towards Carbon Neutrality in July 2024 and has acted as a columnist contributing monthly articles on stories about Hong Kong people’s climate and environmental actions via the online media outlet HK01 since July 2024.
Prof. Wong was the former Secretary for the Environment in Hong Kong SAR Government in 2012-2022. During his 10-year tenure as the “Environment Minister”, he launched a series of policy blueprints on climate actions, energy saving, clean air, popularisation of electric vehicles, waste management, and biodiversity, leading Hong Kong towards carbon neutrality before 2050.
Since the 1990s, Prof. Wong has become a registered architect with expertise on sustainable architecture and research.
About Daisy Chee
Daisy is a seasoned sustainability professional with around 15 years of experience spanning consulting, corporate, and non-profit sectors. Currently at PwC, she advises clients on ESG disclosures and the enhancement of ESG performance.
Over the course of her career, Daisy has led the development of sustainability reports for publicly listed companies, supporting them in setting climate targets, conducting carbon footprint assessments, and performing scenario analyses. Her experience also includes ESG data management, improving ESG ratings outcomes, and nature-related financial disclosures. In the social dimenion, Daisy has managed corporate social responsibility (CSR) communications and community programmes.
Her passion for sustainability is reflected in her global engagement. She joined the 2041 Inspire Antarctic Expedition and served as a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum.
About Ema Poposka
Ema Poposka is deeply passionate about preserving marine ecosystems in Hong Kong and globally. To share her passion and empower other young people to drive change through storytelling, Ema founded Making Waves Club. Made when she was just 12 years old, Ema’s groundbreaking documentary on Hong Kong corals earned international acclaim, garnering over a dozen awards, including a Gold Remi at the Houston International Film Festival and SCINEMA junior, as well as being a finalist at the 27th ifva Film Awards and Earth Futures Festival. Her second short animated film about the ocean was a finalist at the 20th International Ocean Film Festival. Determined to inspire other young people to raise their voices for ocean conservation, Ema speaks at events, organizes workshops for impactful storytelling and founded and leads the annual Ocean Youth Eco International Film Festival, engaging more than 3,000 young filmmakers from over 50 countries.
For her work as sustainability advocate, Ema is a winner of the 2025 SMCP Student of the Year Award – Sustainable Advocate. She is a UNITAR Young Ambassador Asia Pacific and Co-President of Kids4Kids Advocates Leadership Team. Her work has been featured in media outlets across four different continents. She loves sailing, diving, and just relaxing by the sea that gives her inspiration and energy. Through her visionary work, Ema not only champions global sustainability and marine biodiversity but also ignites action by harnessing the power of creativity, collaboration, and advocacy, proving that even the youngest voices can create waves of change.
