During Art Basel Hong Kong 2026, Maison Valentino hosts an exclusive dinner, convening leading figures from the worlds of design, fashion, and dining for an immersive experience that embodies the Maison’s enduring dialogue with creativity and contemporary art.
Hosted at the Mandarin Oriental’s Terrace Boulud and presented by culinary collective WE ARE ONA, the striking pop-up restaurant, blending gastronomy, design, and art, transforms dining into a cultural experience. For this pop-up, renowned chef Daniel Boulud presents an exclusive multi-course menu served within a vibrant setting designed by artist Lea Colombo – a colorful environment where food and visual culture merge. The pop-up also reflects WE ARE ONA’s signature approach: bringing together leading chefs, artists, and designers to create ephemeral restaurants at major cultural moments around the world.
Among the distinguished guests are Chiling Lin, Fish Liew, Kevin Chu and Gareth.T, all appearing in Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2026 The “Fireflies” collection — a luminous study of light, movement and modern femininity.
ATOM TABLES by Lea Colombo
Artist and designer Lea Colombo conceives a bespoke immersive setting that seamlessly blends artistry, craftsmanship, and innovation. Her universe unfolds as a vibrant, multi-sensory landscape where color, texture, and light interact in a spirit that is both playful and elevated.
At the center of the installation, the ATOM TABLES collection explores the invisible architecture of connection. Built from two intersecting atom forms – balanced yet subtly offset – each table embodies the dynamic tension of Yin and Yang: structure and flow, individuality and connectivity. They channel the boundless energies that run through us all, expressed through colour.
Designed as modular, connectable units, the tables function as singular energy fields that magnetically link together. Each form stands alone with presence, yet expands in power when combined, creating constellations of colour that invite connectivity and expansion.
Crafted with rounded CNC-cut forms and high-gloss lacquered finishes, the ATOM TABLES are both playful and precise – sculptural yet functional – transforming dining into spatial choreography, where sacred geometry becomes alive and gathering becomes energetic exchange.
Each hue activates a distinct emotional register: red for grounding, yellow for vitality, blue for depth, green for expansion, magenta for transformation. When placed in proximity, these tones vibrate against one another, producing a visual rhythm that mirrors human connection itself.
For this WE ARE ONA Hong Kong pop-up, Lea Colombo has curated an exclusive set of cutlery in collaboration with Sabre Paris, the renowned French cutlery brand. Artek is also a partner of the pop-up, providing customized Artek stool 60 for the event, from where some of them will be designed by Lea Colombo and WE ARE ONA.
